Finding a love for house music at an early age, Matt Masters aka MidiDropMusic
began a work experience placement at Freerange Records in 2004 and spent his first season in Ibiza as resident DJ for Kinky Malinki, Pukka Up and SunSea Bar. During the season he appeared at many venues including Privilege, El Divino and Es Paradis. Matt was invited to join the Freerange team permanently that year and the label and its artists have played a fundamental part in his musical influences and ambitions.
Matt has played alongside Switch, Hipp-E, , Milton Jackson Jimpster, Palmskin, Mike Monday, Nacho Marco, Fish Go Deep, Kirk Degiorgio and Shur-I-Kan at the London Freerange Records label parties. He has also appeared at the Sonar Music Festival in Barcelona and the Garden Festival in Croatia.
