Stephan Laubner, better known as STL, is regarded for his unique twist on dubbed-out house and techno sounds. "Lost Harbour" leads Take Your Seats EP with textural field recordings, crunchy distorted rhythms, and an amalgamation of snaking bass, synth, and piano lines, intertwining and unfolding throughout. "Mr. Sinister" switches the vibes over to menacing bass swells, fluttering subs, gritty percussion, and an underlying tension before "Sensimilla" edges into more ethereal territory with spiraling dub chords, shuffled hats, and winding atmospherics.
